He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Ramsey; his daughter Shirleen Crenshaw; his sister Jeanette Cook; and his granddaughters, Lisa and Brandy Coy.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Ramsey Jr. (Lynn), Robin Coy and Renee Walls (Jesse); and his grandchildren, Christy, Jackie III, Alyssa, Brianna, Chasity, David, Scotty, Richard, Jennifer, Jessica and Amanda. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home. A masonic service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home.
