He is survived by: his wife Cathy Middleton; his son Jamie Middleton; his sisters, Sharon Wilder, Dianne Spurlock and Susan Engle; his siblings' children, Darrell Saylor, David Middleton, April Childers and Hannah Housley; and his close friend Morris "Bainy" Clem.
