It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Bayer (Smithland, Kentucky), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Bayer and Wanita "Nell" Myrick Bayer. He is survived by : his daughters, Sara Kee (Kary) of Waxhaw, SC, Lea Hayes (Wade) of Mt Juliet, TN and Carol Stephenson of Dresden, TN; his grandchildren, Karson, William, Addison Kee of Waxhaw, SC, Caroline and Victoria Stephenson of Dresden, TN; and his brother Joe Bayer of Smithland, KY..
