We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2021, at the age of 85, Jimmie Mitchell of Smithland, Kentucky, born in Crittenden, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jim Mitchell and Geneva Mitchell (Curnel); and his sister Janell Hardin. He is survived by : his wife Marlene Mitchell of Smithland; his children, Tina Kemp (Joe) of Hampton, KY, Crystal Thorning (Derek) of Paducah, KY and Ed Decker (Trish) of Mayfield, KY; his grandchildren, Cole Grimes, Ella Byers, Landon Byers and Ainsley Thorning; and his great grandchildren, Aiden and Casey.
