He is survived by: his wife Gayla Maxfield; his children, Chris Maxfield (Amber) of Saunemin, IL, Max Maxfield (Stephanie Sullivan) of Kentucky, Stephanie Maxfield (Troy Scott) of Kentucky and Mychal Maxfield (Wesley Miller) of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Malachi Maxfield, Jeremiah Jackson, Artist (Malaya Scott) and Kyla Kelley (Jazmyn Miller); and his brothers, Frank Maxfield (Sandy) of Centralia and Eddie Maxfield of Centralia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
