He was predeceased by: his parent Noel Belcher; his brother Noel "Sonny" Belcher; and his son Timothy "Timmy" Lewis. He is survived by: his parent Catherine Keller Belcher; his wife Brenda Richey Belcher; his sons, Gerald Belcher (Debbie), Gary Belcher (Sherry) and Todd Lewis (Sheri); his grandchildren, DeSara Lewis, Caitlin Belcher, Anne Thomas Belcher, Tyler Potter, Madison Lewis and Cole Lewis; his great grandchildren, Jase Potter, Kaleb Varnado and Ava Grace Villalobos; and his sister Donna S. Southworth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and his constant companion.

In lieu of flowers family request donation be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, the Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
