She was predeceased by: her parents, James Emory and Leatha Whitlow Young; her husband Rodney Bryant; her son Rodney Dwayne Bryant; and her siblings, Otis Young, Prentice Young, Otha Young, Howard Young, Mae Parsley and Maxine Lowe.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Bryant Yates (Roger) and David Bryant; her sister Rhea Palmer; her grandchildren, Stacey Jordan, Jamie Bryant Melton (Jeff), David Bryant (Crystal), Jennifer Jordan and Zack Allison (Raya); and her great grandchildren, Samantha Melton, Haley Melton, Ashley Melton, Trey Melton and James Rodney Bryant. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren, step-great, great grandchildren, and extended family.
