He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Gorden Newton and Linda Faye "Judy" Wethington Newton. He is survived by: his daughters, Amber Smith of Jamestown, Cathy Jo Wilson (Michael) of Columbus, OH and Amanda LaFavers (Austen) of Bowling Green; and his siblings, James Newton (Vicky) of Campbellsville, Bobby Newton (Debbie) of Harrodsburg, Barbara Rohe (Eric) of Cincinnati, OH, Brenda Goins of Liberty and Lisa Stedam (Frank) of Owenton. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to help the offset funeral expenses.
