She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Starling and Dora Johnson (Croft); her husband Norman Simpson; and her siblings, Terry Lee Johnson and Angie Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, David Simpson, Virginia Ross, William Simpson (Yukari) and Albert Simpson (Vicky); her siblings, Johnnie Waters and Joseph Starling; and her caregivers, Romonia Sorenson and David Goodin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
