It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Mercer of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Mercer and Mary Catherine Neal Mercer; his wife Shirley Bates Mercer; his daughter Charlene Smith; and his granddaughter Savannah Nichole Burton.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Burton (Donnie) of Somerset, Stanley Mercer (Brenda) of Somerset and Ron Mercer (Lisa); his sister Emma Adkins (Larry); and his grandchildren, Nathan Burton, Heather Mercer, McKayla Lawson (Dustin), Reanna Reeves (Brett), Derrick Harrison, Chris Bryant (Jared), Amy Cox, Daniel Cornelius (Sara), Sandra Turner, John Hughes (Samantha), Freddy Hughes (Danielle), Matthew Hughes (Samantha) and Joshua Hughes (Tesa).
