She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Kelly and Maude Watkins Rice; her husband Reid Hoskins; her brother Dr. John Clay Rice; her nephew Hager Rice; her great-niece Catherine Watts; her great-nephew Kevin Rice; her grandmother Mima Watkins; and her pets, Edel, Kathy and Jake.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Lawrence Rice of Jackson, Frank Rice (Michele) of Lawrenceburg, Angie Rice of Richmond, Susie Chapman of Jackson and Pam Rice of Richmond; her great-niece Elizabeth Garrett (Sarah Stewart); her great-nephews, David Rice, Jeremy Rice, Larry Rice, Eddie Rice and Jonathan Chapman; her sister-in-law Geraldine Rice of Jackson; her pet Oscar; and her close friends, Drucella, Darrell Johnson, Laney Johnson, Elaine, Albert Whitson, David Foster, Keith, Christine Sinclair, Lynn and Jim Ashbrook.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1209 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42103).
