He was predeceased by: his parents, Greenberry Tackett and Emma Hamilton Tackett; and his wife Mary Elizabeth Tackett. He is survived by: his children, Glenna Carpenter (David) of Lucasville, OH, Ronnie Tackett (Debra) of South Shore, KY and David Tackett (Tammy) of Fort Wayne, IN; and his brother Ermal Tackett (Nell) of Floyd County, KY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
At the family's request due to COVID-19 health concerns there will be a private funeral with Gary Howell and Tim Underwood officiating.
