We bid farewell to Joyce Avonelle Kimbler Baldwin of Staffordsville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Joyce Avonelle Kimbler touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paris Kimbler and Sophia McCloud Kimbler; her husband Gilbert Ray Baldwin; her sons, Brian Baldwin and Paul Baldwin; and her siblings, Bill Kimbler, Ray Kimbler, Roy Kimbler and Judy Gilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Baldwin of Staffordsville, David Baldwin of Paintsville, Dennis Baldwin of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Anita Baldwin of Belleville, Illinois; and her sister Ester Wiess of Nashville, Tennessee. She is also survived by grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A burial will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at the Baldwin Cemetery (Cumbo Cemetery).
