She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hannah and Hager Josephine Scott Hannah; her son Dewain Pennington; her grandson Daniel Clay Pennington; and her siblings, Steve Hannah, Howard Hannah, Cubbie Hannah, Jack Hannah, Gib Hannah, Brenda Luger, Mary Hannah and Retta Hannah.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Walker (Mike) of Columbia, Danny Pennington (Glenia) of Hager Hill, Donnie Pennington of Staffordsville and Diane Howard of Volga, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Misty Pennington, Christal Blevins (Bryan), Amanda Hayes (Dylan) and Allison Pennington; her great grandchildren, Jacob Daniel Pennington, Brayden Blevins, Cameron Douglas Vance, Brennan Blevins, Maliah Jade Vance and Beau Westley Hayes; her siblings, Scottie Hannah (Marty) of Paintsville, Kentucky, Virginia Salyers (Troy) of Paintsville, Vicki Castle (Mike) of Thealka and Grindle Hitchcock (James) of Hager Hill, Kentucky; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Hannah of Salyersville and Leona Hannah of Swamp Branch, Kentucky. She is also survived by other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 9:00 AM, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery (3921 KY-40, Staffordsville, KY 41256).
