The memory of Helen Louise Thompson of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, who passed away on July 28, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald C. Thompson; her parents, Lonnie Graves and Zola Perry Graves; her son Jeff Thompson; her grandson Jesse Lewis Thompson; and her brothers, Eugene Graves and Gayle Graves.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Allan Thompson (Joanna), Jonathan Lonny Thompson and Janet Louise Hollon (Jared); her grandsons, Justin Thompson (Mary), Matt Thompson (Malory), Will Hollon (Haley), Hayden Hollon (Sydney), Jordan Thompson (Brandy) and Jeremy Thompson (Emily); her granddaughter-in-law Holly Thompson; her great grandchildren, Macey, Maggie, Beau Allan Thompson, Harper, Grayson, Landry Thompson and Everlee Louise Hollon; her sister-in-law Helen Thompson of North Carolina; her close friends, Sharon Perkins, Dana McMillen, Lois Noble, Dora Gregory, Judy Dedman and Sheila Phillips; and her grandsons, Jason McMillen, Bruce Graves, Steve Graves, Roger Graves, Harry Graves, James McMillen, Donald K. Thompson, Dr. James Owen, Mike Perry, Adrian Kenley and Nate Dedman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home (320 W Main St, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Masonic Cemetery.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations in Helen's memory be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators 1317 US HWY 62E Cynthiana, KY 41031.
