He is survived by: his parent Vera Mae Bryant Oakes; his daughters, Kim Dailey (Steve) of Richmond, Lisa Addison (Eric) of Cambridge City and Jill Oakes of Jacksonville; his grandsons, Billy Hall (Abbey) of Carmel, Jake Hall of Hagerstown and Nathan Addison of Cambridge City; his great grandchild Elliott Hall of Carmel; and his brother James A. Oakes (Thelma) of Richmond.
