It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Short (Stanford, Kentucky), who passed away on September 1, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pearl Short to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her son Charles Short; and her siblings, Frank Reece, Magdalene Sims, Opal Hannah and Elveree Hatter.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty Lou James of Columbia, KY; her sister Wilma Hatter of Kings Mountain, KY; and her grandchildren, Sandra Davis, Lora Groce, David James, Elizabeth Ann Wilson, Leah Good and Frank James. She is also survived by numerous Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Logan-Whitley Chapter DAR or March of Dimes.
