Ruby Mayes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Mayes (Stanford, Kentucky), born in Chatham, Virginia, who passed away on June 1, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Richard Irvin; her husband Rev. Oscar L. Mayes, Jr.; her daughter Pamela Elna Mayes; and her brothers, Jude Craddock, Jim Craddock and Walter Craddock.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl N. Mayes of Stanford, KY; and her brothers, Lloyd Craddock, Garnet Craddock (Mary) and Melvin Craddock (Jane). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lexington Theological Seminary or SOS (Spay Our Strays) Cats.
