It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Isabel Noe Scott of Summersville, Kentucky, born in Greensburg, Kentucky, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Curits Noe and Ellen Poynter Noe; her husband David Wayne Scott; and her sister Pauline Noe Osborne. She is survived by: her daughter Susie Scott Mitchell; her son-in-law Phillip of Summersville; her son Jerry DeWayne Scott of Summersville; and her brother Charles Noe of Summersville. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the Aetna Grove Cemetery (2368 Aetna Grove Church Rd, Summersville, KY 42782).
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Aetna Grove Cemetery Fund or Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
