He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert L. Wright and Gwendolyn Aubrey Goff Wright; and his siblings, Ruby Jean Durrett, Viva Wade Lydens, Boyce Wright, Chester and Vester Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sydnor Wright of Summersville; his children, Rebecca (Bill Lobb) of Greensburg, Cynthia (Mike Akin) of Greensburg, Nina (Kevin Scott) of Greensburg, Laura Jo Wright of Greensburg, Jeffery (Lisa Wright) of Summersville and Clayton Wright of Summersville; his grandchildren, Daniel (Amanda Scott), Benjamin (Melissa Scott), Adam (Lindsay Scott), Matthew (Rebecca Wright), Ashlee (Clayton Matney), Andrew Hedgespeth and Ivy Hedgespeth; his siblings, Wilma Branstetter of Horse Cave, Sue Davis of Greensburg, Brenda (Tom Majcher) and Mitchell Wright of Mt. Sherman; and his friend Carl "Slick" Alexander. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Aetna Grove Cemetery Fund or the Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
