He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hardin and Nellie Curtsinger Hardin; his wife Sara Lee Hardin; his son Larry Joe Hardin; and his siblings, Betty, Ray, Joe, Leon, William, Jean Curtsinger, Philip, Wanda and Bobby Hardin.
He is survived by: his children, Bobbie Jo Hardin (John), Tony Hardin and Billy Joe Hardin (Christina); and his siblings, Martha Richardson (Tom) and James Hardin (Machella). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home (101 Reasor Ave, Taylorsville, KY 40071). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
