She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Newsome and Alvira Hall Newsome; her granddaughter Mary Elizabeth "Ayrn" Mace; and her siblings, Dennis Newsome, Earl Newsome, Vernon Newsome, Clyde Newsome and Alma Kiser.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Douglas "Tony" Mace and Connie Mace Frizzell (Rick); her grandson Nicholas Alexander Wagers (Sara Arrasmith); and her siblings, Clennon Newsome (Sandra "Sandy"), Patrus Newsome and Pearl Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the American Heart Association.
