He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally Curtis (Bryant) and Jacob Ward Curtis; and his siblings, Jacob Curtis, Roosevelt Dubree, Donnie Rich and Mary Jane Warren.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Emberton (Mark) of Tompkinsville, KY and James Curtis (Candi) of Tompkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Joseph Walden (Megan), Shelby, Emberton of Utah, Alexander and Benjamin Curtis; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Bryson Walden; and his siblings, Tilda Jaskula of Milford, IL, Pearl Stinebring of Buckley, IL, Ethel Lucht (Dave) of Milford, IL, Robert Curtis (Lori) of Illinois, Mitchell Curtis (Sue) of Tompkinsville, KY. and Michael Curtis of Tompkinsville, KY..
