It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Doyle Brown of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Proffitt (High) and Ralph O. Proffitt; her spouse Billie Ray Brown; her son Michael Ray Brown; and her grandson Richard Joseph Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Danita Spear (Tony), Rickie Brown (JoAnn) of Tompkinsville, KY and Chan Brown (Mindy) of Tompkinsville, KY; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Brown of Scottsville, KY; her grandchildren, Emily Brown Shaw (Tyler), Amanda Brown and Evan Brown; her great grandchildren, Kiptyn and Tucker Shaw; and her brothers, Carlie Mack Proffitt (Janice Graves) of Tompkinsville, KY and William Donald Proffitt (Sandy) of Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Brown's memory may be made to Flippin Fire Department, Neal Cemetery or William B. Harlan Library.
