He is survived by: his wife Nellie Effi Hume (Chapman); his children, Dr. Timothy Hume (Pat) of Tompkinsville, Anita Hood of Tompkinsville and Kirk Hume (Kathy) of Tompkinsville; his grandchildren, Jennifer Proffitt (Tim), Robert Hume (Ashley), Chris Hood (Jessica), Steven Hood, Mary Hume, Jacob Hume, Sarah Hume and Matthew Hume; his great grandchildren, Liberty, Easton Proffitt, River and Rowan Hood; and his siblings, Naomi Guffey of Tompkinsville and Mark Hume of Lexington.
