She was predeceased by: her father Ervin Allen Gearlds; her husband Gerald Dale Bryant; and her grandson Brian Dale Shirley. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Gearlds Watson (Hale); her sons, Shannon Bryant of Spring Hill, TN and Tommy Bryant (April) of Chubbuck, ID; her foster children, Matthew Gilmore (Julie) of Menifee, CA, Patricia Borders (Joey) of Elizabethtown, KY, Linda Lanham (Baute) of Elizabethtown, KY and Betty Shirley; and her siblings, William, Tim, Stevie Gearlds, Lorene Webb of Tompkinsville and Janis Ferguson of Tompkinsville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 foster grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Old Mt. Herman Cemetery in honor of Shirley.
