She was predeceased by: her parents, Amie Craig (Proffitt) and Glen Monroe Craig; her husband Douglas Carter; her grandson Nicholas Carter; and her siblings, Earl Lawrence Craig, Laverne Pinckley, Mae Van Petett and Virginia Craig.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Anthony "Tony" Carter (Teresa) of Tompkinsville, KY and Karla Carter Woosley (Sam) of Louisville, KY; her grandson Nicholas Anthony Carter (Lauren) of Tompkinsville, KY; her children, Dr. Amy Carter Gearlds (Justin) of Bowling Green, KY, Joseph Benjamin Carter of Lebanon, KY, Lindsey Woosley Sands (Luke) of Newport, KY and Amanda Rae Woosley of Louisville, KY; her great grandchildren, Harper Gearlds, Clayton Carter and Finn Gearlds; and her siblings, Jimmie Craig (Marilyn) of Gamaliel, KY and Glenda Gregory (Phil) of Georgetown, KY..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Tompkinsville First Baptist Church (302 N Magnolia St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). An entombment was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at the Monroe County Memorial (529 Capp Harlan Rd, Tompkinsville, KY 42167).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Willadean's memory may be made to Monroe County Retired Teachers Scholarship Fund or Tompkinsville First Baptist Church Building Fund.
