It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dortha Bays of Trosper, Kentucky, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Cefus and Laura Ethel Overton (Campbell); her husband Robert Calvin Bays; her children, Brenda Faye Bays and Robert Bays, Jr.; her grandchildren, Angie Bays and Rex Hamilton; her siblings, George, Henry, Thomas Overton and Eula May Bays; and her son-in-law Vernon "Dude" Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine Hamilton of Trosper, Barbara (Charles "Catman" Hamilton) of Trosper, Charlie (Denise Bays) of Trosper, Betty (Vernon Philpot) of Kay Jay and Wanda (Earl Messer) of Green Road; her siblings, Fayetta Broughton and Bill Butler; her daughter-in-law Sherry Bays; and her grandson Ethan Hamilton. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
