It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Garrett of Turners Station, Kentucky, who passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dalton W. "Donkey" Garrett; her parents, Roy Clinton Rowlett and Emma Lee Horner Rowlett; and her brothers, W. C. Rowlett, Dale Rowlett and Bobby Rowlett.
She is survived by: her son Dwight M. Garrett (Mona) of Turners Station, KY; her brothers, David W. Rowlett (Sally) of Carrollton, KY and Clyde Rowlett (Christy) of Milton, KY; her grandchildren, Kala Garrett, Nicholas Garrett, Amy Dermon, Logan Carriveau, Daniel Garrett and David Garrett; her great grandchildren, Emma Beverly, Hadley Garrett, Alyssa Dermon, Adree Dermon, Case Dermon, Riggs Garrett, Bennett Garrett, Savanah Garrett, Destinee Garrett, Dacey Garrett, Danny Garrett and Trinton Garrett; and her son Danny Lane Garrett.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the English Baptist Church (3449 KY-389, Carrollton, KY 41008). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the English Cemetery (491 Carlisle Rd, Carrollton, KY 41008).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the English Baptist Church General Fund in care of the funeral home.
