He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Westerkamp and Violet Westerkamp; his wife Bettye Westerkamp; his son Rick Westerkamp; and his sisters, Martha Beighle and Joy Pea.

He is survived by: his daughter Kim Hilmandolar (Russ); his sister Donna Westerkamp; his grandsons, Clayton and Jacob Hilmandolar; and his great grandchildren, Brooks and Stella Hilmandolar.
