He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Elliott and Ada Tomlin Elliott; and his siblings, Fred A. "Poncho" Elliott, Betty Jo Coomer and Shirley Engle.

He is survived by: his children, Shawna Hammel (Jim) of Union, KY., Jeffrey Elliott of Union, KY., Shane Elliott (Brenda) of Falmouth, KY. and Aaron Elliott (Joy) of Falmouth, KY.; and his sister Rita Rayburn (Robert) of Dry Ridge, KY..

If memorial contributions are desired they may be directed to the Hospice of Hope of Maysville, KY.
