He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Berhiet and Virginia Berhiet; and his siblings, Jerold Berhiet, Richard Berhiet, Peggy Berhiet and Michael Berhiet.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Karoll; his daughters, Lori Dickerson, Tammy Savely and Donna Frakes; and his stepson James Hoos Berhiet. He is also survived by many grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
