She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Eckler and Rosella "Rosy" Eckler (Dunn); her husband Kenneth Johnstone; and her sister Jean Bargo. She is survived by: her husband Carroll "Bud" Rice; her sons, Ralph Johnstone (Laura) and Todd Johnstone; her granddaughters, Rachel Marshall (Austin), Reagan Johnstone and Camryn Johnstone; her stepgrandchildren, Lauren Gilliam and Tynan "Ty" Gilliam; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Madison Moore.
