He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Lovell Pfingston; his daughter Julia Ellen Pfingston; his parents, Will Pfingston and Arlene Heppler Pfingston; his siblings, Julia Pfingston Gardner, Robert Pfingston, Roger "Skeeter" Pfingston, Betty Pfingston Meredith Foster and Ruth Pfingston Yoes; and his nieces, Lori Hallenbrook and Molly Pfingston Hendrickson.

He is survived by: his sister Anna Pfingston Hallenbrook of Pickerington, OH. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews and cousins.
