He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Hemmer and Helen Hemmer (Brockman). He is survived by: his wife Agnes Hemmer; his children, Ann Marie Matteson (David) and Tony Hemmer (Hope); his grandchildren, Joshua, Clara, Greta Matteson and Amelia Hemmer; and his cousin Jeff Custer (Annette).
