He is survived by: his wife Laura Ashley Rittinger Pettit; his sons, Caleb Pettit and Owen Pettit; and his parents, Patti Miller Pettit and Tony Pettit.

Under the current restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Scott's services will be private at the convenience of the family.
