He is survived by: his wife April Sewell; his son Nathaniel Sanford; his stepsons, Ronnie Payton-Sewell, Timothy, Adam, Michael, Jacob and Billy Sewell; his parents, Barry Sanford and Linda Sanford; and his sister Sandra Moran. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Curtis's memory be made to Gideon's International or to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
