He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Jones and Nova Mead Jones; and his siblings, Floyd, David, Ralph, Johnny, Charles Jones and Dora Lee Hannah.
He is survived by: his wife Elma Jude Jones; and his children, Ruben, Samuel, Timothy Jones and Sandra Jones Elkins. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
