It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Carolyn Fitts (Mount Washington, Kentucky), who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Maria departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Maria leaves behind.
She is survived by: her parents, Ricky Fitts and Mercedes Fitts; and her brother Anthony Fitts.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
