He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bobby Joe Goodpaster and Manford Paul Goodpaster; and his parents, Lillian Mays Goodpaster and Elba Goodpaster. He is survived by: his siblings, Leonard Thomas Goodpaster (Carolyn) of West Liberty, KY, Danny Lee Goodpaster (Rosalie) of Indianapolis, IN, Glenda Sue Chaney (Larry) of Hwy, Jerry Allen Goodpaster (Debra) of West Liberty, KY, Elva Jane Fugate (Janie) of Korea, KY and Elba Goodpaster, Jr. (Tina) of West Liberty, KY; his son Joshua David Goodpaster of West Liberty, KY; his grandson Andrew Goodpaster; his siblings' children, Stacey, Missy, Tina, Megan, Melinda Jane, Tim, Shannon, James Allen, Glendon Paul, Nicolas and Travis; and his close friends, Terry Williams, Robbie Nickell, Roy Brown and Meggan Sloan.
