He is survived by: his wife Ann Ritchie Hicks of West Liberty, KY; his children, Brenda Hicks Rutkowski of Butler, Vernon Hicks Jr and Gary Wayne Hicks of West Liberty; his grandchildren, Haley Rutkowski, Taylor Rutkowski, Katlyn Rutkowski and Emily Hicks; his great grandchildren, Carter Centurioni, Wyatt Shanyfelt and Elena Shanyfelt; and his siblings, Loraine Hicks Wallen (Roger) of Garrett and David Hicks (Brenda) of Columbus.
