It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Vencil Ratliff of West Van Lear, Kentucky, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Everett Ratliff and Ruby Daniel Daniels; and his siblings, Joyce Hughes, Patricia Middleton, James Daniels, Danny Daniels and Samuel Edmond Ratliff.

He is survived by : his wife Teresa L. McKenzie; his children, Wendell Dwayne Ratliff (Sheri) of Winchester, Craig Ratliff (Amber) of Paintsville, Kentucky and Melissa Dawn Harvey (Michael) of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Hunter Venson Ratliff (Summer), Kayla Dawn Ratliff Tackett (Zak), John Braxton Craig Ratliff, Sarah Ashton Ratliff, Baron Maxwell Lee Ratliff and Blair Lynn Ratliff; and his brothers, Everett Ratliff of Leland, Fred Ratliff and Raymond Daniels.
