With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Geneva French in Westport, Kentucky, born in Elizabeth, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement Brown (Bud) and Mary Lucille McPhillips Brown; her husband Donald French; her son Christopher "Chip" French; her uncles, Virgil, Thomas, James and Lawrence; her brother James C Brown (Judy); and her brother-in-law Ron Holmes.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jessica (Will), Jennifer (Chris), Mary Rose (Jeremy), Elyse (Steve), Andrew (Meagan), Alex, Nick and Allison; and her sister Evelyn "Tootie" Holmes. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson.
