He is survived by: his wife Barbara Emert Hawkins of White Mills, KY.; his children, Edward Hawkins (Lisa) of Geneva, IL, Keith Hawkins of Elizabethtown, KY, Annette Arrambidez of Elizabethtown, KY and Amy Givan (David) of Elizabethtown, KY; and his siblings, Betty Walters of Ceclia, KY, Suzie Peters (Gene) of Stephensburg, KY, Cecil Gene Hawkins (Lavonna) of Carol Stream, IL and David Hawkins of Cecilia, KY. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
