It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Bates Polly (Whitesburg, Kentucky), who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Bates and Minnie Baker Bates; her husband Rex Polly; her son Jeffrey "Mick" Polly; her great grandchild Wesley Brown; and her sisters, Alpha Fields, Barbara Duncil, Helen Cook and Joyce Brooks.

She is survived by : her daughter Camelia Polly Turner of Shelbyville, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, Jake, Justin, Briana, Whitney, Lonnie, Luke, Chelsea and Carolina; and her daughter-in-law Monica Coleman Polly.
