She is survived by: her parent Edna Mullins Johnson; her daughter Mary Bates of Whitesburg; her siblings, Bill Johnson of Jackhorn, Phillip Johnson of Wyoming, Johnny Johnson, Wilma, Amanda, Pauletta, Phillis, Janice and Patricia; her grandchildren, Kristy Caudill, Ricky Bates Jr and Derek Bates; and her great grandchildren, Jaley Caudill of Ashton Bates, Dylan Caudill, Jasmine Caudill, Luke Gilley and Alexis Bates.
