He was predeceased by : his parents, Troy Damron and Evelyn Damron; his sister Dorothy Carol Hall; and his niece Lori Thompson. He is survived by : his wife Dena Allen Damron; his children, Chris Damron, Tracy Webb-Cope, William Buck Damron, Chad Webb and Kelly Mooney; his siblings, Roy Damron, Madonna Damron Rose and Linda Damron Adams; and also Dave. He is also survived by kids, but "Papaw".

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in memory of Dave.
