She was predeceased by: her husband E. L. "Joe" Palmer; her parents, Cassius Clay and Mattie Lee Crowe Kimbrell; her brother Edward Clay Kimbrell; and her sister-in-law Mary Betty Palmer Langdon.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Palmer Hearn (Georgetown), Anne Palmer Parr (Frankfort), Joseph Kimbrell Palmer (Richmond) and Edward L. Palmer, Jr.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandsons.
