She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Sweeney; and her siblings, Delsie Jones and Charles Leon Spears. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristal Bentley and Carmilla Ratliff (Buffard Timothy); her sister Lora Collins; and her grandchildren, Alexandra Arthur, Christopher Keesee, Isabella, Matthew, Varian and Evelyn.
