He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Olinger and Mauld Oldham Olinger; his wife Brenda Carol Olinger; his son Michael Ray Olinger; and his siblings, Eugene Olinger, Roy Olinger, Coy Olinger, Hattie Olinger, Mary Spencer and Anna Mae Reinhart.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Flinchum (Vanessa) of Zoe, Kentucky, Richard Olinger (Amanda) of Zoe, Kentucky and Kimberly Vanderpool (Kenneth) of Beattyville, Kentucky; and his sister Callie Kohler of Cincinnati, Ohio.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
